Making a Wooden Briefcase

Picture

This is a good three-hour project and one that will last for years. I used to take one with me when travelling — painted black — and got teased by the flight crew for bringing my own ‘black box’. All you need is some 1/4-inch plywood and 1/ 2 inch thick pine. Hinges, brass corners, small headed nails and a catch are available at any hardware store.
