Two Stools

Picture
Three-legged stools are handy when extra seating is needed and stow under a table when not in use. They are especially useful on uneven surfaces but the adult size is too easily knocked over by young children so I’ve included a smaller, four-legged version. The legs can be blind-mortised into the top or run through and wedged. You’ll need a gap-bed lathe with a 7-inch swing or an outboard face plate.
