Norwegian Sailing Pram
Details
A pram is a small, stable boat for sailing and rowing. Simon's build of this ancient Norwegian design (using overlapping lapstrake planking) is a great way for experienced builders to introduce kids and new woodworkers to the craft.

Sea Urchin
Details
Handsome and practical, Simon's Sea Urchin is a solid little wooden dinghy for getting around harbors and helping "youngsters" (in his words) get used to the water.

Silver Thread
Details
Replicated from a classic Cornish boat, the Thread's ancestors were used to fish in harbors and tender to larger vessels. Based on a 1908 lug, Simon's family spent years sailing around coasts and bays in the first Thread.

Lapstrake Canoe
Details
This lapstrake (layered plank) variant of the classic canoe gives a unique Norse look and a smooth feel to a familiar boat. Comfortable for one or two paddlers (plus equipment and a dog).

International 14
Details
Professional dinghy races of the 1930s were dominated by the Alarm, a sleek, responsive boat built by Uffa Fox. Simon's International 14 is a very close relative of Fox's classic design. The International is Simon's most advanced available design, with a wonderful top-of-the-line boat as a payoff.

Petaluma Rowing Shell
Details
Wooden rowing shells are rare in the age of faster-but-unsteady carbon and fiberglass. If you're not trying to win the Charles, these gorgeous shells are a joy to row and a great way to exercise.
