Tall Chest of Drawers

This stands 54 ins. tall and 36 ins. wide. The drawers are graduated in pairs—8-1/2 ins. for the lower two and 6-1/2 ins. at the top. The depth of the carcase is 17-1/2 ins. which fits an 18-inch thickness planer. It’s a handsome piece with a paneled, finished back so does not need to be placed against a wall. It looks well in walnut but I’ve made several in cherry with walnut pulls and one in mahogany with ebony pulls.
